Overview

  

The Big Green Egg Chiminea offers the warmth and ambiance of an outdoor heater with our same ceramic technology, making it a great addition to your deck or patio. It withstands rain even when hot, burns wood or charcoal, has a screened front to prevent the escape of stray sparks and can be used as a portable barbecue grill with the addition of an optional cooking grid. Since it does double duty for heating and cooking, it is practical for camping and tailgating.

    The Chimnea is Packaged in Five Parts
    • 1. Base
    • 2. Spark Arrester (round mesh screen)
    • 3. Cone
    • 4. Cap
    • 5. Door/Screen
    Starting The Fire
    • You can burn wood, natural lump charcoal or fireplace logs in your Chiminea. Add a Big Green Egg Fire Starter block and light with a lighter or long match. No lighter fluid is needed. Add more fuel as needed.
    Safety Tips
    • Do not touch when in operation.
    • Do not operate near combustible materials.
    • Do not allow unsupervised children or pets near Chiminea.
    • The Chiminea is designed for outdoor use only, and it should be operated in a well-ventilated area. Do not use this product indoors or in a closed area. The Chiminea may be stored outdoors.
    • The Big Green Egg Chiminea has a one year warranty.
    Assembly Instructions
    • Unpack the Chiminea and place the base inside the stand (optional). If you have not purchased the stand, set the base on a concrete patio stone. Never place the Chiminea directly on a wooden surface.
    • Place the Spark Arrester on top of the base, then place the Cone on top of the Spark Arrester and Base. The Door/Screen should be inserted into the front opening of the Base.
    • The cap is provided for protection from the weather while not in use.
